Payment and Delivery

how long will it take?

Each item is unique and is hand painted from scratch - as people want slightly different designs, no item is ever the same as another and I do not keep any pre-painted items.  A lot of commitment goes into each one, typically around 2 days work for a toybox.

Normally I try to have your order with you in about 7 to 10 days, although at busier times it may be closer to three weeks.   I will always give an accurate time quote when goods are ordered.  If you have an urgent request I will always try to help when I can.

how do I pay?

I can accept credit/debit card payments through PayPal and debit card payment through NOCHEX as well as cheques and postal orders.  Payment must be received prior to delivery.

Prices for each item can be found on the products page.  Some items that are made to order may occur an additional cost if a lot of additional work is involved but this would be advised at time of order.  For items that are not on the products page I will offer an individual quote prior to commencing work.

Cheques should be made payable to Claire Fraser and emailed to me at my home address which I will email to you.

how is it delivered?

For larger items (such as toyboxes and furniture), delivery to the UK will be by Next Day Courier service (normally ANC).  I will advise you when your item is ready and that you should expect delivery - you will need to arrange to be at home on the delivery day to accept the parcel from the courier although it can be left with a neighbour if you are not at home.  If you live locally to Gloucester, you are of course welcome to collect your item - with no charge , or I can deliver locally if you would prefer for a small charge.

For smaller items, postage will be via Royal Mail Parcel service (3-5 day) or standard mail. 

what are the postage costs?

All of my prices quoted include UK delivery.  If you would prefer to collect the item from me in Gloucester you can do so and deduct the following from the quoted price. 

Standard Toyboxes - £10

Large Toyboxes - £10

Tables & Chairs - £10

Frames & Mirrors & Plaques - £1-£3  But remember - these prices are included - so deduct the delivery cost if you wish to collect.

what about international postage?

I can deliver items to anywhere in the world, and again, I only charge cost  plus packaging.  They will be delivered by international courier (normally FedEx) and normally take 2-4 days. Please contact me for a quote, but as a guide:

Standard Toybox to USA - £40

Standard Toybox to Europe - £30

Small items to USA (frames, plaques) - £2 to £5

Table & Chairs to USA - £70

Standard Toybox to Australia - £56

Table & chairs to Australia - £75

I have sent numerous items now to the USA and Europe and have recently sent a number of toyboxes to Australia and New Zealand!!
